Took plaster casts of manhole covers in the street. Swept the sand, glass, tar, cigarette butts, rocks, metal, etc … from the manhole and nearby street to use as color and added texture to the final castings.
From the original plaster cast taken in the street – made a rubber mold in studio to make the actual castings used in the final installation.
